Recruitment Conveyancing is a long established specialist area of the legal profession. We undertake the legal side of buying and selling residential property. A property transaction is usually the biggest financial investment a person will make in his lifetime. Modern conveyancing requires a professional, personal service to be carried out by experienced people who care and understand the importance and sometimes stress involved in moving home or buying property. Whilst a career in conveyancing can be very challenging, it can also be very rewarding protecting your client’s legal interests and guiding them from start to finish through this important process. We currently have the following positions available. Assistant Title lawyers - These positions would suit newly qualified Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers or Legal Executives with at least 1 year's post qualification experience in dealing unsupervised with residential conveyancing from start to finish. You will have a particular interest in the title and legal aspects of conveyancing. Although you will be trained on all aspects of our system you will assist one of our Senior Title Lawyers/Team Leaders with reporting on Legal Titles and management of one of our conveyancing teams. Trainee Case Managers –These positions would suit people educated to A level or Degree standard who would like to embark on a career in conveyancing. Candidates should possess good administration and communication skills, already have working experience of an office environment, and have experience in dealing with the public by telephone or face to face. You must also be able to work under pressure. You will start with other trainees where you will embark on a structured 12 month training course, after which with satisfactory progress you will become one of our Case Managers working as part of a Team responsible for your own client caseload. Trainee Case Administrators- These positions would suit people who will already have office administration skills and wish to become conveyancing administrators. After joining and undergoing one of our structured training programmes you will work very closely and support one of our Case managers and become a key member of one of our Conveyancing Teams. Case managers - These positions would suit experienced conveyancing secretaries or paralegals who wish to advance their careers and be credited and rewarded properly for the crucial and responsible role that they perform dealing directly with our clients and managing their cases form start to finish. You will be part of a motivated team working with the aid of an excellent case management system and the full support of a Title Lawyer. With successful progression you will be able to progress your career and become one of our future Title Lawyers/Team Leaders if you have the ability and desire. Conveyancing Administrators- These positions would suit candidates who are looking for a challenging and rewarding career in conveyancing. You must have a minimum of 1 year’s relevant conveyancing administration experience. You will play an immediate role in one of our conveyancing teams dealing with all aspects of the administration tasks involved in a conveyancing transaction form start to finish.
